Oborevwori Approves Financial Aid for 533 Delta Law School Graduates

Delta State Governor, Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved financial assistance for 533 indigenes of the state who successfully completed their studies at the Nigerian Law School during the 2025 academic session.
The intervention is part of the state government’s efforts to promote human capital development and provide support for young professionals as they begin their legal careers.
A statement issued by the Delta State Bursary and Scholarship Board announced that eligible beneficiaries are required to submit the necessary documents electronically to enable the processing and release of the approved funds.
According to the Board, the required documents include the Nigerian Law School admission letter, Certificate of Call to the Bar, a valid means of identification, Local Government of Origin identification, and bank account details. The submission window runs from July 23 to July 29, 2026.
The Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr. Godfrey Enita, urged all affected graduates to comply with the guidelines and submit their documents within the stipulated period to avoid delays in accessing the financial support.
The financial assistance aligns with Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to investing in education and empowering Delta youths through initiatives aimed at reducing financial burdens and encouraging professional advancement across the state.

Big Solo Nig. Ltd. CEO Hails HRM Bosu Dio’s Leadership at 34th Coronation Anniversary

The Chief Executive Officer of Big Solo Nig. Ltd. and former Chairman of the Odimodi Federated Communities, Comrade Solomon Gbegha, has congratulated His Royal Majesty, Bosu Dio (JP), Ayamabulou-I, the Ibenanawei of Iduwini Kingdom, Delta State, on the occasion of his 34th Coronation Anniversary.
In an official congratulatory letter dated August 6, 2026, and addressed to the revered monarch, Comrade Gbegha described the King as “a symbol of peace, wisdom, and progress,” commending his remarkable leadership and enduring contributions to the growth and unity of Iduwini Kingdom.
The letter, issued under the letterhead of Big Solo Nig. Ltd., reads in part:
I, Comrade Solomon Gbegha, CEO of Big Solo Nig. Ltd. and former Chairman of Odimodi Federated Communities, warmly congratulate HRM. Bosu Dio (JP), Ayamabulou-I, the Ibenanawei of Iduwini Kingdom, Delta State, on the joyous celebration of your 34th Coronation Anniversary.”
Comrade Gbegha further acknowledged the monarch’s impactful reign, stating:
Your reign has been distinguished by wisdom, visionary leadership, and an unwavering commitment to peace, unity, and the progress of our kingdom.”
He also offered prayers for the continued success of the monarch’s reign, saying:
May Almighty God continue to bless Your Majesty with good health, strength, wisdom, and many more glorious years on the throne.”
The goodwill message concluded with the declaration:
Long May Your Reign, Our Revered King! AYAMABULOU! AYAMABULOU! AYAMABULOU!”

Otuaro Credits Tinubu’s Support as 16 PAP Scholars Complete Overseas Master’s Degrees

The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Otuaro, has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his continued support of the programme, following the successful graduation of 16 beneficiaries sponsored for postgraduate studies abroad.
The graduates completed master’s degree programmes at universities in the United Kingdom and the United States, with four of them earning distinctions in their respective fields. The outstanding graduates are Nina Orubebe (Financial Management), Tonbra Tonlagha (International Hospitality and Tourism), Kemien Egbekun (Law), and Simon Douye (Construction Engineering Management).
The scholars studied a wide range of disciplines, including Software Engineering, Oil and Gas, Data Science and Engineering, Financial Management, Law, Construction Engineering Management, and Global Public Health. They graduated from respected institutions such as the University of Cambridge, Coventry University, Manchester Metropolitan University, Aston University, Northumbria University, Carnegie Mellon University, and several others.
Reacting to the achievement, Otuaro congratulated the graduates for their dedication and successful completion of their programmes. He noted that their accomplishments demonstrate the positive impact of the Federal Government’s investment in education and human capital development in the Niger Delta.
According to him, the expansion of the scholarship scheme aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which seeks to improve educational opportunities and equip young people in the region with the skills needed to contribute meaningfully to national development.
Otuaro stated that since assuming office in March 2024, the Presidential Amnesty Programme has produced 111 master’s and doctoral degree holders, comprising 57 graduates from foreign universities and 54 from institutions within Nigeria. He added that the programme has awarded about 9,000 undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships in Nigerian universities, alongside 247 scholarships for higher education abroad.
The PAP administrator also expressed appreciation to President Tinubu and the National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for their continued support, saying their commitment has strengthened the programme’s efforts to promote peace, education, and sustainable development across the Niger Delta.
He reaffirmed the agency’s resolve to continue expanding access to educational opportunities for qualified youths despite criticism, stressing that investment in education remains one of the most effective ways to secure lasting peace and economic growth in the region.

Hammandikko Calls on Nigerians to Unite Behind Tinubu’s Administration

A prominent All Progressives Congress (APC) figure, Hon. Dahiru Hammandikko, has appealed to Nigerians to continue supporting the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the country’s progress depends on collective commitment and national unity.
Hammandikko said the current administration is implementing policies aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy, strengthening institutions, and improving the welfare of citizens. According to him, while the reforms may present temporary challenges, they are intended to create long-term economic stability and sustainable development.
He urged Nigerians to remain patient and avoid actions capable of undermining the government’s efforts, stressing that meaningful transformation requires time, cooperation, and sacrifice from all stakeholders.
The APC chieftain also encouraged citizens to promote peace, national cohesion, and constructive dialogue, noting that political differences should not stand in the way of the country’s development.
