Europe imported about 2.06 million metric tonnes of jet fuel during the month, with supplies from the Dangote Refinery making up roughly one-fifth of the total volume. This placed the Lagos-based facility ahead of traditional exporters from the United States and the Middle East.
The refinery described the development as another milestone in its drive to become a major global supplier of premium petroleum products. It noted that its consistent output and product quality have enabled it to strengthen its position in highly competitive international markets.

Since commencing operations, the 650,000-barrel-per-day refinery has steadily expanded exports to several international destinations while also supplying Nigeria’s domestic market. Its rising production has been credited with improving fuel availability and enhancing the country’s role in global refined petroleum exports.
