Binaebi Pledges Grassroots Door-to-Door Campaign Across Delta South
By staff Reporter Rukevwe Odeh
The Peoples Democratic Congress (PDC) candidate for the Delta South Senatorial District, Chief Adowei Freedom Binaebi, has pledged to take his campaign directly to communities across the senatorial district ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Binaebi said the campaign would adopt a grassroots approach, with his team engaging residents in their various communities to present his vision, listen to their concerns and seek their support.
The candidate emphasised the importance of maintaining close contact with the people, particularly in riverine communities where residents often face unique challenges relating to infrastructure, healthcare, education, employment and economic opportunities.
He noted that the door-to-door strategy would provide an opportunity for voters to interact directly with him and members of his campaign team, while also allowing them to communicate their expectations for effective representation.
Binaebi reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing programmes and policies that would promote the development of Delta South and improve the welfare of its people.
He urged residents, youths, women and community leaders across the district to participate actively in the political process and support candidates committed to meaningful grassroots representation.
The campaign is expected to cover communities across the eight local government areas that make up the Delta South Senatorial District as preparations intensify for the 2027 elections.

Warri Group Withdraws Support for Ereyitomi, Backs Mulade for 2027 Reps Election
By staff Reporter Rukevwe Odeh
A group of stakeholders in Warri has announced its decision to withdraw support for the incumbent member representing the Warri Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Thomas Ereyitomi, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The group, while explaining its position, cited what it described as dissatisfaction with the lawmaker’s performance and representation of the constituency.
The stakeholders subsequently declared their support for Comrade Jude Ukori Mulade as their preferred candidate for the 2027 House of Representatives election.
According to the group, its decision followed concerns over the level of representation and development delivered to the constituency under the current administration.
The stakeholders said they were seeking a representative who would be more responsive to the needs of the people and more committed to advancing issues affecting residents across the constituency.
They urged other political stakeholders and eligible voters in Warri to consider Mulade’s candidacy as the 2027 elections approach.
The group’s endorsement adds to the growing political activities and realignments expected to shape the contest for the Warri Federal Constituency seat ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Ereyitomi, who currently represents the constituency in the House of Representatives, has yet to publicly respond to the allegations contained in the group’s statement.
